Flexible steel cable securely holds the Do-All head mounting bracket in place. For front of tree mounting, slide the clip into the upper tree first, then secure the other half of the brackets to the tree. Make sure the tree is sturdy enough to support the weight of the trap, and it should slide into place easily. To rotate the dead center of the trap, slide the pin out, slide the pin in, and slide the new dead center up and then back into place. This process works for both dead and alive traps. After the pin is tightened, simply lift the pin up and off. It can be very difficult to move a dead deer out of position especially when it is wet and the trap needs to be removed.
