VARMGARD™ Varmint-Proof Stainless Steel Feeder Spinner Plate
STOP FEEDING THE THIEVES.
Raccoons and squirrels are relentless around a game feeder. VARMGARD™ was built to stop them.
This isn't just another replacement spinner plate. VARMGARD is a heavy-duty, all-stainless-steel feeder defense system engineered to lock down access to your feed when the motor isn't running.
LOCKED DOWN BY CENTRIFUGAL FORCE
VARMGARD uses the rotation of your feeder motor to operate its three locking legs. When the feeder spins, centrifugal force moves the legs into operating position. When feeding stops, the system returns to its locked position—putting three solid points of protection between varmints and your corn.
No complicated chain system. No collection of flexible links. No unnecessary moving parts.
Each VARMGARD leg uses one simple hinge point, creating a rugged, straightforward design made for life underneath a feeder.
WHY THREE LEGS MATTER
Two points of contact leave room for leverage.
VARMGARD uses three locking legs positioned around the spinner plate to create a stable barrier that helps prevent raccoons, squirrels and other feed-robbing varmints from manipulating the plate and getting access to your feed.
When VARMGARD is closed, it's locked down like a vault.
BUILT FROM STAINLESS STEEL
Feeders live outside. Rain, humidity, mud and years of exposure are part of the job.
That's why VARMGARD is constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
No cheap plate designed to rust away underneath your feeder.
HEX-DRIVE SET SCREW MOUNTING— BECAUSE DETAILS MATTER
VARMGARD™ secures to the feeder motor shaft with a hex-drive set screw instead of a traditional Phillips-head screw.
Why? Because Phillips heads can strip and tear out when they're tightened, removed or exposed to the elements repeatedly. The hex-drive design provides a more positive tool engagement, allowing you to securely tighten VARMGARD to the motor shaft without fighting a chewed-up screw head when it's time for service or adjustment.
It's a small detail—but VARMGARD was built around eliminating weak points.
PASS THROUGH MOUNTING SHAFT
The VARMGARD is designed to mount on virtually any feeder with a 1/4" diameter motor shaft ( spinner plate is 5.25 inches wide by 2.75 inches tall). The shaft can mount from above or below making it a great option for both barrel style feeders with conventional lower control units or the new stand and fill style feeders with top mount shafts.
BUILT SIMPLE. BUILT TO LAST.
The VARMGARD design eliminates the chain linkages and multiple flex points found on other varmint-resistant spinner designs.
Three locking legs.
One hinge per leg.
All-stainless-steel construction.
Centrifugal-force operation.
That's it.
Fewer unnecessary moving parts means fewer places for a determined raccoon to exploit—and fewer components to wear, stretch or fail.
